Apostille requirements for Non-Recordable documents:
Affiant needs to sign in front of a Texas notary public
The appropriate notarial acknowledgement, jurat, or other notarial certificate, completed by the notary public in which it reflects a date and names of persons who appeared and signed the document before the notary. (appearance date must be placed)
Notary Public Signature above his/her stamp or seal
The notary public's seal of office, affixed to the document (Please insure the notary puts their notary stamp/seal on the document that needs to be apostilled)
Apostille Requirements for Texas Recordable Documents:
Must be an original or certified copy that has been issued within the past 5 years.
